As a state senator, Eric has been a tireless advocate for the citizens of New Mexico, working hard to improve wages and create green jobs. Eric is running for Congress because the American Dream is disappearing in front of our eyes, and he is determined to keep fighting until we get it back.
Eric grew up in a middle class family, living in the same neighborhood where he resides today, where he learned that with a strong public education system, and some hard work, anything is possible. He’s been a progressive champion in every challenge he’s taken on in life – whether it was in the State Senate, the Albuquerque City Council, or the New Mexico Economic Development Commission. Every step of the way he’s been promoting solutions that create more opportunity for all Americans.
