Michael Eggman: CA-10

Michael Eggman (CA-10)

Students for a New American Politics PAC is pleased to announce its endorsement of Michael Eggman in his bid for Congress in California’s Tenth District. Two SNAP Fellows, selected from a national pool of activists, will join Eggman’s campaign as trained field organizers over the summer.

As a family farmer and small business owner, Eggman will work to ensure opportunity for all. He will advocate for the middle class by defending social security and standing up to the Tea Party. In Congress, Eggman will promote energy independence by working to create green jobs, cut wasteful spending while preserving essential programs like SNAP and promote programs that expand opportunities for struggling individuals.

“As the nation’s largest student-run political action committee, SNAP PAC represents young people stepping up to build a better future, “said Michael Eggman. “I am proud to work alongside SNAP PAC to ensure that today’s young people have access to an affordable education and  the same economic opportunity as the generation before them.”

Eggman will advocate for progressive values like new opportunities for immigrants, the defense of crucial programs that help people rise out of poverty and expanded access to education for students.

“Residents of California’s Tenth District and Americans across the country will be lucky to have Eggman in Congress,” said SNAP PAC Co-Executive Director Madeleine Vahey. “As a representative for working people across the country, Eggman will fight to create a more equitable nation.”
